Wiscasset, Maine is located just a short 45 minute drive north of Portland on Route 1 on the western shores of the Sheepscot River.
Wiscasset is known as THE PRETTIEST VILLAGE IN MAINE and whether or not you agree, the town is beautiful. When our clients purchase homes here, they join the many artists, writers and antique collectors who were drawn by the stately old homes that overlook Wiscasset’s picturesque harbor.
Anchor your boat at the town landing or the yacht club, and bring your friends and family into town to enjoy one of Wiscasset’s famous world class lobster rolls served up in one of the wharf side restaurants. Later, take a stroll to one of the many summer festivals. One the way home, stop in to meet the professional, courteous shop keepers and explore the fine antique shops that dot Wiscasset’s main and side streets.
